Living Pictures in association with Aubergine Café Cardiff are delighted to announce an innovative new scheme funded by Ffilm Cymru Wales, supporting adults with autism to learn practical filmmaking skills.

Aubergine Café, a creative hub for adults with autism and Living Pictures will launch the Film Club from Monday 11th January 2020 for five weeks as a series of five practical online workshops.

Join us online from all parts of Wales for a fun and non-judgemental experience where you can feel free to express yourself creatively, using the medium of film. The 90-minute workshops will be guided by filmmaker Ben Ewart-Dean. Each session will focus on a different theme - image, story, sound, camera and editing. Ben is an experienced facilitator for young people and adults with autism.

After each session, you have an opportunity to film something in response to the theme, using cameras, phones, tablets etc and to upload for us all to share and watch. Technical support will be available as required.

The workshop content will be available in advance and will also be recorded so you can watch again at your leisure.
